NOTE: ARResources has not and does not provide or sell insurance and ARResources is not an insurance agent or insurance company. Race organizers and adventure racing clubs sanctioning with ARResources are required to procure insurance on their own directly from an authorized insurance provider.

At this time, ARResources has identified only one approved Insurance Provider with the following package:

Policy period: 10.15.04 - 10.15.05 (option for extension to 10/15/06)

Liability Insurance provided through an A++ Rated Company by A. M. Best Company.

NOTE: Waivers / Release forms must be used in order to purchase this insurance. Failure to produce a signed release at the time of a claim will result in your assumption to pay the first $2500 of each occurrence (including supplemental payments) in an "athletic participant" legal liability claim. (Athletic Participant means players, coaches, managers, staff members, team workers, game officials and cheerleaders who have been granted proper authorization to enter the event.

LIMITS OF EXCESS ACCIDENT MEDICAL: Excess Accident Medical Expense Coverage Provided by an A++ Rated Company by A.M. Best Company. Accident medical insurance is included in the liability coverage premium. Coverage is excess over any other coverage. Coverage is provided for participants, volunteers and staff. This is not a replacement for Workers Compensation.

EACH OCCURRENCE LIMIT	$25,000 (Cross Country Ski & Snow Shoe Tours or Races $50,000)

Coverage is provided for but not limited to:

· Race promoters, officers, employees, and volunteers

· Ownership, Maintenance or use of land for club activities

· Product liability and completed operations for food or merchandise

· Liability you assume under contract

· Cost of defense, outside the limits of liability

· Limited libel, slander, defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, piracy

Coverage is EXCLUDED for:

· Fraudulent or dishonest acts

· Damage to property you own, rent, borrow or occupy

· Consultation errors or omissions

· Nuclear Energy liability

· Punitive or Exemplary Damages

· Injuries to your employees (Covered by Work Comp)

· Sexual abuse and molestation

· Asbestos & pollution hazards

· Liquor liability

· Owned or non-owned aircraft & automobiles

· Medical Payments (See Below)

· Employment Practices

· Absolute Downhill Skiing Exclusion

To receive the discounted ARResources Insurance Rate, a copy of your ARResources sanctioning contract or your Event ID Number must accompany the McKay Insurance application to McKay Insurance Agency. The ARResources sanctioning fee and completed contract must be in the ARResources office prior to applying for the discounted insurance.
